J Sloops from the Miami Fl area pointed us to this video clip-. He says he’s caught a few fish like this before and wondered what they are. Well that’s an easy one Mr. Sloops: It’s some kind of toadfish. More specifically, it’s probably an “Oyster Toadfish”

This kid does very well on teaching someone how to cast a baitcasting reel. in this FL Fishing Video he walks through the process without a whole bunch of filler about the history of reels and junk that no one really want s to hear. he just talks about how to cast, does it in slow motion, is clear and does it several times. All the while focusing (and keeping his camera man focused) on the important parts to remember. Great Job kid!

Down here in Florida, even the kids catch monster sharks! No wonder we like fishing so much!
These Florida kids are spoiled! When I was a kid, my Dad used me as bait to catch sharks! Okay, I’m obviously kidding. But seriously when I was kid up north it was a good fishing day if the whole family caught one or two trout less than a foot long. No wonder I didn’t like fishing much until I moved to Florida!
