Goliath Grouper Eats a Shark

You read that headline right. You gotta see what happens when this guys tries to land a little 4 foot shark.

That is just amazing. Never thought you’d feel sorry for a shark whuh? Well it’s hard not to when he’s caught on the end of a fishing line and one of Florida’s famous Goliath Grouper comes after him over and over.
Goliath grouper are amazing fish, I saw one at the Florida Aquarium in Tampa (or was it Mote Marine aquarium in Sarasota FL?) that was as big as a volkswagon beetle!

they caught this one in 75 feet of water off of Sebastian Inlet FL, which is on the central east coast of Florida.

FL Fishing Show – A Demo Reel

Here’s a “demo reel” for a new fishing show called “Your Fishing Guide” It’s nicely educational and it looks like it’s going to cover alot of the different subjects involved in FL Fishing.

This show is a little slow for my taste and the fish are a little small. It kinda seems like it’s made for old folks, but that’s just me. I’m not a beginner, so I’m a little impatient when they talk about beginner stuff. It also bothers me that when people say it’s not about catching fish, it about fishing”, well I’m kinda high strung and feel just the opposite. I’m there to catch some fish, not sit around and wish I was catching fish! But that’s just me.

There are some things Ido like though, like the educational and all inclusive thesis and the fact they show people fishing from shore. This is Florida you don’t have> to have a boat to catch fish. They’re everywhere!
