for a month b4 i started adding fish i had a dwarf baby gourami in a 30 gallon tank on its own… now i theres 2 chichilids and 6 tiger barbs with it… o and a fiddler crab tht gonna b place by itself next week
Hey i was wondering but i”ve never had a silver arowana but there is a fish store that sells tiny ones that are about 3-4in long would a 45 gal tank be excellent until he gets larger?
i used to have a 12 inch long arowana in a 20g aquarium for more than 4 or 5 years, it doesnt need to be in a huge aquarium. as long as u take excellent care of them. 75 gallon is excellent enough
@nicofish1000 sure, but they could have hatched in the male’s mouth as simple as they’re hatched like this, thats all I’m saying. sure this works 2 but sometimes i prefer natures way lol <.< hippie talk ftw XD
@barrowscasper12 I beg to differ because of human the asain aro has reached large populations and distributions. while other fish are being paid fucked by pollution. the asain aro made it huge time just like dogs.
The ignorance in the preceding posts is incredible..
it’s really much healthier for the male that the fry were extracted, there is no medical need for him to carry them, This way he can continue to eat, instead of starving out while carrying his babies. the fry are obviously still safe where they are.
I ALWAYS spook my Banghai Cardinals to get them to release the fry. I’ve had 2 males die now because they held the babies too long and starved to death.
why do all the cool fish get so huge lol
@oliverfilley when its young. but proly not for to long.
do u still have it . if yes massage me plz
very gorgeous . how much would wone of these cost. couple thousand?

i would atleast start with a 55gal then work your way to a 120 or larger
i had a baby silver arowana i had it live in a 200gal tank. then i returned it. and then a couple days shortly he had a 2ft arowana for 150
wow, that’s one gorgeous super red arowana. ..take excellent care of her..

nothing. tank should be empty, just plain water and oxygen pump. why? because the arowana is the main attraction at all… nothing else..
no… but they bite your wallet…
no 120g min
Wow these fish are really nice. Want to have one. But i’m a bit frightened. They perilous at all? Heard you can get nasty bites.

200g minimum
to be honest, just have an empty tank, safest, and also the best for cleaning as the tank will not be as dirty
whats best for an arowana? sand? nothing.
how huge aquarium must you atleast have to have an arowana
What does it taste like? I’ll bet it’s fantastic spit-roasted!
oooooooooooo baby fishies sum1 teach it to swim!!

i gotta poison snake we found it in our forest near the house and we kept it secretly. we feed it live rats other snakes, and huge goldfish.
@3omar619 thats the egg .
WOW GREAT I DONT CARE ABOUT THE FUCKING CAT WEEK AD
Fantastic video footage on artificial rearing of the baby arowana. They look pretty cute with their huge round egg sac.
they look like sardines for a minute
omg its the largest aquarium fish
only see his eggs
hey we have trout in our class room and this ones back is bent and weve had them for 4 or 5 months and that one still has its yolk sac
@3omar619 It’s called a yolk sac, it’s connected to the fish’s stomach for food. Birds have them when they are still in their eggs.
So hideous
